The High Street Consultancy brings together a group of leading place professionals, with a track record in delivering specialist support to help towns and high streets across the country to thrive and survive.
We provide a comprehensive range of services, delivered by experienced practitioners and backed by nationally recognised models, that can help in every aspect of place transformation.
The members of our team are all elected Fellows of the Institute of Place Management (IPM), the professional body for our industry, and worked together as Experts within the previous government’s High Streets Task Force between 2019 and 2024.

Our vision is to help create resilient, inclusive and thriving town centres and high streets that are the beating hearts of local life – places where communities connect, businesses flourish, and civic pride is restored.
We take a “place first” approach to help support the development and execution of place policy, strategy and delivery plans, all tailored to each town or place.
The team members of The High Street Consultancy have all built up national profiles, rich expertise, and a record of positive on-the-ground impact within their respective consultancy businesses, with roots in places across the UK.
Now, alongside continuing those important individual roles, we have come together as The High Street Consultancy to pool and meld our talents where there are places and projects that require the fullest possible range of place-related expertise.
